Terms of Service

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Field Efficient Pty Ltd (ABN 94 701 897 663) (“we”, “us”), and govern your use of Field Efficient at fieldefficient.com.au. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate information and are responsible for activity under your account. Your tester identity is tied to your authenticated profile and must not be shared.

Subscriptions and billing

Field Efficient is offered on paid plans (Starter, Pro, Business) billed through our third-party payment processor. New accounts include a 14-day free trial; there is no free tier. Paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. Fees already paid, including annual subscriptions and token top-ups, are non-refundable except where required by the Australian Consumer Law.

When a trial ends or a subscription ends, the account is paused: you can resubscribe, and the organisation owner can export its records, but you cannot view, create or edit records. Once an account is paused, if no owner or admin has signed in for 30 days we notify the owner, and if none signs in within a further 30 days all of the organisation’s data, including photos and report files, is permanently deleted.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to access other organisations’ data, or use it unlawfully.

Your data

You own the data you enter. You grant us the rights necessary to process it to provide the service (including the AI processing described in our Privacy Policy).

We retain the records you create while your trial or subscription is active, and deletion of paused accounts is described under “Subscriptions and billing”. The organisation owner can export its records as a JSON file at any time; the export does not include photos or report files. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of the reports and records you need to meet record-retention obligations, such as the five-year retention that Australian state electrical regulators typically require of testers.

Compliance disclaimer

Field Efficient is a documentation, recording, and reporting tool. It does not certify compliance and is not a substitute for the professional judgement of a licensed tester. You are responsible for the validity of the tests you perform and the accuracy of the reports you generate and issue.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Field Efficient is provided “as is” and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
