Do I need a credit card to start?+
No. The 14-day trial starts on the Pro tier with no card required.
Will it work with my brand of tester?+
Yes. Field Efficient reads exports (PDF, photo, voice, clipboard) from any instrument brand.
What is a token?+
Tokens meter AI usage (PDF parsing, scan, voice). Each plan includes a monthly allowance; top-ups are available.
Is my data kept in Australia?+
Yes. Your data is hosted in Australia (Sydney region). Some AI processing uses overseas providers. See our Privacy Policy.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Cancel from Settings → Billing at any time. You keep full access until the end of your current billing period (monthly or annual) and the plan simply won't renew. We don't refund or credit part-used periods. After that the account is paused: you can resubscribe at any time, but you can't open or edit your jobs until you do.
What happens when the trial ends?+
Your account is paused until you choose a paid plan: you can't open or edit your jobs, but you can subscribe at any time and pick up where you left off.
How long is my data kept after I cancel or my trial ends?+
Once your account is paused, if no owner or admin signs in for 30 days we email the owner a warning. If nobody signs in within 30 days after that, all of the account's data, including photos and report PDFs, is permanently deleted. An owner or admin signing in resets the clock. The owner can export your records as a JSON file at any time, but the export doesn't include photos or report PDFs, so download any reports you need to keep before your plan ends.
