Print at the board, not back at the ute

Field Efficient prints test tags directly to Bluetooth label printers (Zebra ZQ-series portables) — pair once, then print each tag the moment the item passes, with the item, verdict, test date and retest due on the label. Where a direct Bluetooth connection isn't available, the same label exports as an image or PDF you can share to any printer, so no platform is locked out.

Every tag verifies itself

Each label carries a QR code linked to the test record behind it. Anyone — your client, a safety auditor, the next tester on site — can scan it with a normal phone camera and land on a public verification page showing the verdict, the item, when it was tested and when it's next due. No app, no account, no phone call to your office asking “is this tag legit?”

Scan it back

The same QR works harder for you. Scanned with Field Efficient's built-in scanner, a tag takes you straight to that item's record in the app — verdict, dates, derived retest due, and the job it belongs to — so a re-test visit starts from the tag on the lead, not from a search box. Switchboards get the same treatment: board stickers scan back to the board's full capture history. Print once, and every future visit begins with a scan instead of a spreadsheet.

The retest date writes itself

Retest intervals under AS/NZS 3760 depend on the environment the equipment lives in — our intervals guide covers the schedule.
